Orca Baby, Seals and Mufflon Sheep Mating

Captain Nancy told me about Friday's (Oct 5) trip. Guests and crew saw "L" pod which were just north of San Juan Island (near Battleship Island). The mother of the new L pod baby was pushing the baby around with her nose. The day was gorgeous and the water flat. They also watched a harbor seal chowing down on a big salmon. Captain Nancy said that the male Mufflon Sheep on Speiden Island were VERY amorous. We did not see the transients but they were in the general area with reports of them chasing, killing and eating Dalls Porpoise.

There is a tour going out today and each Saturday in October. Dont miss your chance!
